FURNACE

Maximum working Temperature up to 1000°C and safe recommended working temperature up to 900°C

Construction: The furnace body is fabricated out of mild steel sheets and sections with welded screw joints, the terminal connections to the furnace will be brought out at the rear side of the furnace for maintenance and repair. The terminal cover is very easily accessible. The body of the furnace is finished in heat resistant aluminum paint.

The furnace working heart will have a 30″ height from the floor level.

Refractory Lining: The heating chamber of the furnace is lined with high quality sillimanite grooved refractory’s to hold the heating elements. High graded ceramic fiber insulation will be provided all round the heating chamber to minimize the heat loss.

Heating Element: Heating is accomplished by the aid of imported ‘KANTHAL A1’ wire wound on coil from and provided on all four sides of the chamber. The design is such that the heating elements will distribute the heat throughout the chamber uniformly and is easily accessible for easy maintenance.

Door: The furnace has a well insulated flap type door with spy hole lifting type of door balanced by counter weight.

Control Gear consists of one No. Electronic Digital Temperature Indicating Controller with Cr / a1. Thermocouple, Indicating Lamps, ON / OFF Switch, Air Break Magnetic Contractor, Ammeter, Voltmeter etc. Which will be housed in a sheet shell cubicle and fitted on to one side of the furnace itself

Rating: The furnace is supplied suitably wired for operation on 400/440 Volts, 3 phases, 50c/s.AC Mains, 4 wire systems.
